Fastminds URGENTLY needs more Trustees and Volunteers to help us cope with the HUGE increase in demand for support for adults with ADHD (or who suspect they may have ADHD) in and around the Kingston area that we’ve seen in the last few years.
If you or anyone you know has an interest in ADHD and are interested in playing a vital role in supporting us to work towards becoming a charity, we’d love to hear from you/them*.
All that’s needed is a few spare hours per month and relevant skills and experience to advise and/or help us with things like:
- Company Secretary (Board position) – URGENTLY REQUIRED
- Finance
- Treasurer (Board position) – URGENTLY REQUIRED
- Book-keeping
- Fundraising – grant applications, sponsorship, etc – URGENTLY REQUIRED
- IT
- IT Manager (Board position)
- Compliance/Data protection
- Website – including building and launching our online store
- Operations
- Secretarial/Admin support
- Recruitment & Volunteer management & training
- Policies & procedures
- Community Outreach
- Working closely with the local council, charities and other organisations to raise awareness and understanding of challenges experienced by those with ADHD, and the importance of getting appropriate timely help and support.
- Membership
- Membership applications & renewals
- Safeguarding
- Facilitating support group meetings, art group sessions, talks, workshops
- Advocacy support
- Buddy-system co-ordination
- Event management
- Training, talks, workshops and other events
- Sourcing and managing speakers
- Art Group sessions
- Sales & Marketing
- Social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc)
- PR
- Newsletter Editor – URGENTLY REQUIRED
- Sales of merchandise – including online shop, fulfilment & returns
